"And call upon me in the day of trouble,
I will deliver thee,
And thou shalt Glorify me"
I love this verse because it puts it so clearly. Call on God when there is trouble, he'll take care of it, and, (the part that we always seem to forget), we thank and praise him. It's so simple and yet sometimes so hard. Of course we call on God, and we expect him to fix it. But we always seem to forget the last part. Have you ever been following directions for a craft or something, and come to the last few steps, and it looks completed, so you just stop and don't finish? I have. But I've also gone back later and did that last step or two, and you know what? It looked even better than before! I think that that's sort of how it is with this verse. After God fixes everything, we just assume that that's the end of it. But if we stop and thank him for what he did, sometimes we realize even more just how good God is!
