Wow!! Thanksgiving is already here!! (and that means that Christmas is just around the corner :-)
I wanted to tell you guys some things that I'm really thankful for this year. I'm thankful for the 'normal' thanksgiving list too, (food, house, family, etc.) but here are some things that I'm just really overflowed with thankfulness for!!
1. God's forgiveness
this year, I've really felt the forgiveness of God like I never have. And it's such a wonderful feeling!! I'm so glad that God sent His son to die for us!!! :-)
2. Lots of special friends who love me and build me up in my faith
I'm so thankful for all my new and old friends that keep me accountable and encourage me!!
3. Music
I love to sing songs and praises to God!! I'm thankful for our youth Praise Band at church and all the opporitunities I have to use my voice for His Glory!!
4. the Bible
when I think about people who don't own a Bible, it makes me so sad! Some people can't afford one, or it's illegal. And those people who risk their lives to own one!... I'm not only thankful for a copy of the Bible, but that God chose to give us His word, and that we have the freedom to use it without being afraid!
Those are a few of the things that I'm really thankful for this year!

I feel the same way as #1. I dunno, it's just something this year that I've never felt before. Maybe the years before I was too young and immature and just kinda took it for granted a little and believed it mainly because that's what my parents taught me. But now that I'm older I have this feeling... a feeling that overwhelms me with joy whenever I think about how Jesus gave His life for us sinners! (: (Happy Thanksgiving!)
I soo know what you mean!! Just this overwhelming joy that I've never felt before! God is AMAZING!!
