No Electricity!
Last week, our electricity went out for a couple of hours. Yes, I know that's not very long, but it went out in the evening! So it was very dark! So during that time, we enjoyed all sitting around the kitchen table while using our oil lamp! (it doesn't get used very often, :-) so when it does, everyone wants to be around :-).

That's cool! I love oil lamps! :) They look so old and rustic! :) The are so pretty! :) When did y'alls power go out?
Last week some time, I can't remember exactly...
That's cool! One whole week the power was out (I might be mistaken, it might have been only half a week) because of a really bad hurricane right by our house. We had to have candles everywhere (sadly, we didn't have an oil lamp lying around the house...) but it was really fun, I think, cuz every meal we would eat with candles and we played a whole lot of family games and that sorta thing, since we didn't have power. I think it's nice to stop all the electricity things for like a week though, and just be together as a family (:
Yea! Everybody tends to stay together where there's a light :-) but it's still fun and I think that it's good family time! It also makes you thankful for electricity! I think that it's good for us to go without electricity for a while... makes you think of stuff to do other than be on the computer or watch TV!
